We had photo ops on Sunday, June 27th before beginning our journey early Monday morning. Wini will be visiting quilt shops along the way and Joel will be riding his bike. Our goal: travel from Seattle to Boston, MA. Joel plans to peddle the entire way and Wini will drive the 4-Runner. So far we have traversed the state of Washington going through Leavenworth, Wilbur and Spokane. Bike miles so far: Seattle to Leavenworth = 114; Leavenworth to Wilbur = 117; Wilbur to Spokane = 75.
Tomorrow we tackle Idaho and will continue our journey following Highway 2 east through Libby, Glacier Park and points east. More to follow.
Jackson, Caden and Emma will be travelling with us vicariously.
