The pristine beauty of Eastern Montana continues, and continues, and continues, mile after mile after mile. Montana is over 600 miles wide from the Idaho border to the North Dakota border and includes an entire time zone. Seems like I have been in this state for a long time. Tomorrow we enter North Dakota.
We were fortunate to find lodging in Wolf Point, Montana because the annual rodeo begins today and runs through Sunday. It is the premier event in the town for the entire year. Wini managed to get lost (for a short time) in the traffic. I made her feel better by buying her a "Catholic Burger" which is only available during the rodeo and the hamburger stand is open 24 hours per day from 11 AM on Thursday (today) through 11 AM on Sunday (see photo). If I get hungry tonight, I know where to go.
Wini continues to enjoy quilt shops along the way.
